Welcome to the 90's!
Truth is, i used to feel annoyed when i heard this song in my teenage years. But i'm glad, at the end of their career (including the death of overdosed guitarist), the vocalist went on to form a critically acclaimed super choir alternative group called The Polyphonic Spree.
